Our story

Hello lovelies, your cake sweetheart here is Mary and I live in the beautiful Papamoa, the place where I established my council registered home business and create my custom cake designs and offer services across Tauranga, Bay of Plenty.

I developed love for baking and cake designing while I took a short break from 7 years of Early Childhood Teaching. That short break created the idea of me working from home by making celebration cakes.

Mac and Bakes Papamoa finally came in October 2021 and together with my husband, John the superstar behind our cake photographs, social media works, and customer relations we are growing our small cake business day by day.

We are specialised in buttercream custom cakes and love creating cakes for you and bringing your cake ideas to life.
